High quality purified water, used for maintenance to top off conventional lead acid batteries when the fluid level gets low due to the natural process of evaporation. Note: New conventional lead acid batteries must be activated by filling with battery acid (a sulfuric acid water mixture called electrolyte) only. Demineralized water is used to replace evaporated water only. Regular tap water is not recommended.
